Behind the Name

Where coffee meets the moon.

Kopi & Bulan

“Kopi” is the everyday ritual. “Bulan” is the calm that arrives when the day begins to slow.

Together, they describe the kind of experience the café wants to offer: approachable coffee in a setting made for evenings, company and a little breathing room.

Our Journey

Five chapters,
and still being written.

The idea

A neighbourhood café shaped around a simple thought: good coffee feels better when nobody is rushing you.

02

Chapter 02

Finding the space

A place in Meru became a warm canvas for timber, cream walls, familiar objects and easy conversation.

03

Chapter 03

Making it personal

Small details gave the café its character—from mixed seating and framed prints to the memories left by visitors.

04

Chapter 04

Welcoming the community

Solo evenings, family tables and long conversations began to share the same relaxed room.

05

Chapter 05

The story continues

Kopi & Bulan keeps growing through new drinks, returning faces and moments worth remembering.

We imagined a place that could feel familiar before it even became familiar.

Designed to Feel Lived In

Nothing needs to match perfectly to belong together.
